JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for overall effectiveness and measurement of Charter’s mobility/relocation program and policies as well as program design and benchmarking. The incumbent will serve as the mobility interface for leadership and will counsel business leaders and HR partners on matters relating to mobility program administration, including issue resolution, employee outreach, program measurement, reporting and effectiveness.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary strategic partner to the Executive Team in the area of mobility/relocation services
Responsible for program reporting, benchmarking and effectiveness measurement on a quarterly and annual basis
Provide guidance to the Employee Service Center regarding complex individual relocations based on their analysis, as necessary
Provide counsel to executives on complex relocation situations that involve exception consideration based on market findings, individual employee needs/circumstances and policy guidelines
Provide counsel to employees in complex relocation situations in-person or over the telephone during the transition process
Conduct regional and national real estate market research to evaluate program effectiveness and develop policy recommendations
Develop new relocation programs, as applicable, to meet business needs
Responsible for developing and delivery of Executive leadership presentations on policy, industry trends, regional/national research findings, business case recommendations and annual reporting
Responsible to develop proactive employee outreach to assess effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement and assess delivery of the mobility/relocation services
Constantly assess programs for development with current vendors: with customer service, process flows, key performance indicators (KPIs), communications, technology, costs, etc.
Critically assess potential vendors and their service offerings for inclusion in the relocation program
Collaborate with Legal and Procurement on contract review and RFP activity to ensure most favorable terms, service offering and pricing for Charter
Collaborate with HR and Recruiting teams to ensure clear understanding and communication of policies and processes
Ensure consistent and objective administration of relocation policies
Manages cross-functional projects such as Request for Proposals (RFP), process transition, vendor implementation, policy revision
Performs other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Significant depth of knowledge of mobility programs, policy design and delivery
Extensive understanding of government regulations and legislation that impact mobility programs
Experience developing and delivering executive level presentations and reporting
Experience supporting executive relocation needs and providing counsel to business leaders
Experience with vendor relationship management to include but not limit to: contract and statement of work support, performance management and contract compliance, vendor payment, etc.
Project management experience; cross-departmental project management experience is a plus
Experience managing multiple employee programs, highly preferred
Experience with associated processes and programs, such as international relocation, immigration policies, etc., highly preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, HR or related field. Certification as either GMS or CRP encouraged
Related Work Experience
5+ years of progressive experience including successful management and expertise in domestic relocation policy design and administration
